Verizon released their FiOS app a little over 2 years ago; stripped of the goods from day one. Rumors of a LIVE TV streaming feature were just that. Tech Talk News: Majors Labels Not Feeling Apple’s Music Streaming Service!!!
Apple is rumored to launch its Pandora like music service sometime in 2013, the only problem is they have no major label backing on the project, and unless Apple plans on just having indie artists this might be a problem. Back in October Apple were in talks with major labels Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group, but they didn’t bite on the idea. The idea of Apple starting a music streaming service goes back to a time when Steve Jobs was in charge, but its up to current CEO Tim Cook to close the deal which seems to be problem so far.
