Microsoft Says We know Surface Pro Battery Sucks But We’re Fixing The Problem

  As we all know the battery on the Microsoft Surface Pro is more than terrible and that’s not the only downfall of the product. Microsoft knows the gripes people have with the device but they are looking to improve that aspect of the Surface pro. The pro gets a dismal 4 and 4.5 hours per charge on so so use. Granted the device is using a desktop processor, still people plan on being on their mobile device for at least 6 hours. Microsoft’s Surface boss Panos Panay says the company plans on fixing things sooner than later.


Tech Talk News: Microsoft Announces Surface Pro… And The Battery Life Sucks!!

So Microsoft announces their next Tablet the Surface Pro via Twitter today.  The Tablet will run a steep $899 for 64 GB.  Now on to the battery life. According to their twitter account the Surface Pro will have half the battery life of the Surface R/T.  The Surface R/T had a battery life of 8 hours max. So your looking at 4 hours. Why is the Surface Pro getting only 4 hours? Well unlike the iPad the Surface pro will be running on i5 processor and the device is touchscreen thats sure to drain the devices battery.
