Singer Michel’le is best known for her 1990 hit single “No More Lies,” as well as her high-profile relationships with both Dr. Dre and his friend-turned-enemy, Suge Knight. With the renewed interest in all things N.W.A. following last summer’s blockbuster Straight Outta Compton, the singer has now gotten her chance to tell her story in a new Lifetime biopic. Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me is set to “tackle the Los Angeles native’s journey through the turbulent days of N.W.A‘s stardom after being signed to Eazy E‘s Ruthless Records, becoming Dr. Dre‘s girlfriend and forming romantic ties to Suge Knight,” according to Billboard. Fun fact: the actor who played Suge in SOC, R. Marcos Taylor, reprises his role in this movie. Check out the first preview below, before the film debuts on Lifetime this October.
