Kanye West Will Premiere SWISH At MSG

Kanye West has never been one to do things in a traditional manor, so we wouldn’t expect anything less for SWISH‘s rollout! On its set release day, February 11, the album will be streamed live at Madison Square Garden in NYC, and will simultaneously play in select theaters around the world. HHNM confirms it will also coincide with the showcase of third collection of his Yeezy line. Tickets are set to be made available soon here, and they’re already on sale in Germany, according to HHNM. This should be dope!

If you’re a fan on Kanye West than you know he only takes to social media when he feels it’s important … I mean, 17 million followers and only 270 tweets. Well, the “No More Parties in L.A.” rapper allowed us into his life by showing off some of his comrades [and an SP-1200 drum machine and sampler] during the SWISH process. Check out the fun down bottom.

Kanye West Is No Longer Executive-Producing Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’

About a year ago, before we even got a title for Rihanna’s eighth studio album but were anticipating it just as much as we are now, it was reported that Kanye West would be executive-producing the project. The pair had just put out “FourFiveSeconds” together with Paul McCartney, a track that was set to live on ANTI, and Kanye revealed that had sparked the decision for him to oversee the project as whole. Unfortunately, that has changed. The underwhelming reception of not only “FourFiveSeconds” but of its follow-ups “American Oxygen” and BBHMM,” reportedly caused Rihanna to go in a totally different direction for the album, which clearly has caused some hold-ups in its release. Perhaps because they realized what they were doing wasn’t working, or perhaps because the delay interrupted Kanye’s current plans for his own album, they’ve nixed the executive-production idea all together.

Khloe Kardashian Talks Kanye West’s ‘SWISH’ Album: “They’re All Genuinely Terrific Songs”

Although Kanye West’s release date for his highly anticipated album ‘SWISH’ right around the corner, it seems that fans know very little about what to expect when it does drop. Along with the announcement of the SWISH release date, West also revealed he will be bringing back everyone’s favorite G.O.O.D Fridays and last week introduced his record ‘Real Friends’ and a snippet of ‘No More Parties in L.A.’ This got fan increasingly excited and ready for more. Being that Khloe Kardashian is Kanye’s sister-in-law, she was able to give fans a little bit of insight to the album during a recent interview with Cosmopolitan. KoKo dished that she’s heard the album and has even been able to sit in studio sessions, however it still remains unclear just which songs will make it to the album. She said, “He has so many songs that we — I act like I’m recording them — that he can’t figure out what he wants to put on his album,” Khloe dished, “And they’re all genuinely terrific songs.” Read more below.
