During Team USA ‘s game against Puerto Rico at Madison Square Garden, Coach K left Damian Lillard on the bench for the entire game. Later that night the final 12-man roster was announced and low and behold, Lillard was cut and did not make the team. As is normal Twitter behavior, a follower decided to crack a joke on Lillard riding the bench but Dame hit him with that ether. Lillard also took being cut from the team in stride, saying it’ll fuel him to get better.
