Tech N9ne Announces “Independent Powerhouse Tour”

Tech N9ne is hitting the road. The Strange Music head boss recently released the second part to the Stranguelation compilation series, and he has now announced the “Independent Powerhouse” tour. The tour kicks off at the end of March and carries on until the end of May. The tour will also feature several other Strange Music artists including Ces Cru, Stevie Stone, ¡Mayday!, Rittz and Krizz Kaliko. Tech N9ne opened up about the tour saying, “It’s going to be big, the biggest tour we’ve ever done, you don’t want to miss this one.” Check out the full list of dates below.

The clip is a break from the norm of what Tech N9ne has become known for, incorporating many of the luxuries that have become synonymous with mainstream rap. His forthcoming album ‘Special Effects’ is due for release next month.

L.A.’s Power 106 Announces Powerhouse 2015 Lineup

It’s that time of year again! Hot 97’s sister station Power 106 in Los Angeles is gearing up for their annual Powerhouse concert, and this year’s lineup was revealed today on The Cruz Show. Going down May 16 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Powerhouse 2015 will be headlined by Kanye West, and will include Ty Dolla $ign, Ludacris, Kid Ink, B.o.B., Tech N9ne, G-Eazy, Tinashe, Logic, Nipsey Hussle and Casey Veggies. Fans will be able to win tickets every day by listening to Power 106 up until the show date, and can also purchase them starting Thursday, April 9 on Power106.com.


Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 5/11/14 … Congrats To Tech N9ne On A Top 5 Debut!

There’s a whopping 6 debuts in Billboard’s top 10 album sales this week, and the Frozen soundtrack has FINALLY been bumped from number one – thanks to one of those 6 debuts! The 50th installment of the Now series debuted at number one, moving 153k in the last 7 days. Crazy how it’s still doing so well after all of these years! Tech N9ne’s Strangeulation appear to be a set of hits. The 21-track album is full of collaborations from Strange Music artists Murs, Wrekonzie, Stevie Stone, Tyler Lyon, Krizz Kaliko and so many more.
