Marilyn Monroe’s Suicide Note Up For Auction

Marilyn Monroe wrote a scratchy suicide note to her fried Lee Strasberg and now it’s available for auction along with 250 notable documents online. The documents will be on display at Douglas Elliman’s Madison Avenue art gallery in the photo’s her handwriting is hardly legible at times but that isn’t surprising. Some of what I could make out she says, “My will is weak but I can’t stand anything. I sound crazy but I think I’m going crazy.” She definitely seemed crazy in the note. You have to physically go to the gallery to see John Lennon’s rant to Paul McCartney after the Beatles broke up, or Dwight Eisenhower’s secret love letters, but you can check out the suicide note in the gallery above.

The Real Reason The Beatles Broke Up!

Years after their break-up, Yoko Ono is opening up for the first time about the real reason why The Beatles broke up. I’m curious why she decided to open about about what she calls “the divorce” now after all these years. Yoko said that John was pleased with the break-up since all the members said they began to feel like they were Paul’s back-up band and not a united band. Yoko also claims that Ringo and George came to her and John to talk to them about leaving the band before they split while Paul was attempted to keep the band together. Ono also said that Lennon really did miss his bandmates. It’s a shame that they split when they did, but more importantly that John and Paul never spoke after their split and never really got the chance to peace things up. Read what Yoko said below. Today is the 32nd anniversary of the death of singer, John Lennon. Lennon, who was a member of the Beatles, was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman outside of his apartment in The Dakota in New York City. There was no funeral for Lennon, but his wife spread his ashes in Central Park in an area which is now known as Strawberry Fields. Although Lennon was only 40 year-old at the time, his music has made an impact that will last forever. Watch his most famous song, “Imagine,” below. Julie A. & the IFWT team
