On Saturday night, it was a total West Side takeover at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, CA, as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and The Game headlined the sold out ‘How The West Was Won’ concert. Over 15k people came out to see Game, Snoop and Cube do what they do best, as well as DJ Quik, Suga Free, Too Short, E-40, Mack 10 and The Eastsiderz. Check out more pics from the night in the gallery!
The Game gather’s Bobby Shmurda, Freddie Gibbs & Skeme on this one! Take a listen to “Hit Em Hard” after the jump!
Blood is thicker than water but for West Coast rapper The Game, that might not be the case. Game’s older brother, Big Fase, called the Blood Money emcee out on Instagram for neglecting his family and investing more time into his career. Fase took to IG and posted an old picture of his son with “Uncle J” with a caption that read, “A birthday wish for your nephew is too much to ask i guess.. f*ck me.. but the kids…? Just a call from his famous uncle would have made his lil day so much more special. Stop being TheGame for a second and be Uncle J .. Cold world of ours this is.” However, let’s reflect back that The Game and Big Fase haven’t had exactly the best of relations throughout the years. Their Black Wall Street music label crashed and burned in 2002 after The Game felt as if his brother and many others were “taking advantage” of his success. Then when Game and 50 Cent began beefing, reports were flying that Fase was siding with Fif during the whole ordeal. Hmmmmm.
Check out this one from The Game called “F*ck Ya Feelings” featuring Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. His new album “Blood Moon: Year of The Wolf” drops October 14. Also check out “Married To the Game” featuring French Montana, Sam Hook and Dubb. Listen below.
