l Many are skeptical about the Jumanji reboot, as it’s a classic that is dear to many a childhood, and it’s something you’d never want to see done poorly! Kevin Hart has shared the first image from set, as he stands in the jungle with The Rock, Jack Black and Karen Gillan, captioning it:

“Day 1 of shooting “Jumanji” is officially in the can. We had a amazing first day. The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!! This movie is going to be dope as hell….Can’t wait to get back to work tomorrow @therock @karengillanofficial & jack black!!! #Jumanji”

The Rock recently shaded the cast of ‘Fast 8’ calling them ‘candyasses.’ He is now calling them family stating that conflict is a good thing. Some say that Rock was talking about Vin Diesel. He called out the male co-stars of the movie calling them unprofessional. He says they were too “chicken shit” to step to him after being called out.

The Rock Promises Jumanji Reboot Will Honor Robin Williams Properly

As previously reported, The Rock has signed on to be a part of the reboot of the 1995 Robin Williams box office smash, Jumanji. It’s left many fans of the original film apprehensive, however, as reboots can certainly go left, and with Williams no longer with us, he’s not here to have any input. The Rock promises to do it right, though. “An important thing that I want to be honest and bring up is Robin Williams,” he wrote on Twitter. “The love and respect I have for this man is boundless. You have my word, we will honor his name and the character of ’Alan Parrish’ will stand alone and be forever immortalized in the world of JUMANJI in an earnest and cool way. I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud.” He also revealed some new details about the movie.

Oh lord, we got another remake. Hollywood can’t seem to stay out of the past because every day I wake up, I find out theres yet another remake of a classic movie. Unfortunately, not only do they fall short of the original but they’re just plain awful. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson however wants to turn that around as he confirms that he is indeed working on a remake to the cult classic, Jumanji.
