The Rock Promises Jumanji Reboot Will Honor Robin Williams Properly

As previously reported, The Rock has signed on to be a part of the reboot of the 1995 Robin Williams box office smash, Jumanji. It’s left many fans of the original film apprehensive, however, as reboots can certainly go left, and with Williams no longer with us, he’s not here to have any input. The Rock promises to do it right, though. “An important thing that I want to be honest and bring up is Robin Williams,” he wrote on Twitter. “The love and respect I have for this man is boundless. You have my word, we will honor his name and the character of ’Alan Parrish’ will stand alone and be forever immortalized in the world of JUMANJI in an earnest and cool way. I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud.” He also revealed some new details about the movie.

Oh lord, we got another remake. Hollywood can’t seem to stay out of the past because every day I wake up, I find out theres yet another remake of a classic movie. Unfortunately, not only do they fall short of the original but they’re just plain awful. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson however wants to turn that around as he confirms that he is indeed working on a remake to the cult classic, Jumanji.

Sports: The Rock & Mark Wahlberg Get Sued After Being Accused Of Stealing The Hit Show “Ballers”

HBO has a hit on it’s hands with the show “Ballers” which follows the lives of fictional NFL players both on and off the field. As they gear up for season two, the shows creators, Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have been slapped with a lawsuit by two people claiming the entire idea and show were stolen from them.
