NFL: Richard Sherman Rips NFL for Thursday Games: ‘Poopfest. It’s terrible’

The Seattle Seahawks lost to the Green Bay Packers 38-10 on Sunday and will host the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday.  Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is upset with the schedule and blasted the NFL for continuing to schedule Thursday night games.

The New York Giants are notorious for rocky starts to past seasons. This season has proved to be no different. Losing two games that should have resulted in victories for the New York team, fans were instantly annoyed, and with good reason. Thursday night, Eli Manning and the Giants turned things around and defeated the Washington Redskins, 32-21.

It was ugly last night for the Minnesota Vikings as the Packers jumped all over them en route to a 42-10 blowout win on Thursday Night Football. It was much uglier for Vikings safety Robert Blanton though as he made the highlight reel twice, but for the wrong reasons. He was on the wrong end of being run over by Eddie Lacy two separate times, including one for a touchdown. Lacy is a big boy and you better man up when trying to tackle him.

When the network decided to pull Rihanna’s “Run This Town” from their Thursday Night Football montage in light of the Ray Rice domestic violence scandal, the international superstar went HAM on Twitter and Roc Nation revoked the network’s usage of the song. Reporters caught up with CBS’s CEO Les Moonves, who made some interesting but endearing comments about the superstar. Hit the jump for video.
