Pebbles Releases A Statement About TLC Movie; Reveals Plans To Possibly Sue

The TLC biopic CrazySexyCool: A TLC Story premiered on VH1 last Monday night, and over a week later, their former manager Perri “Pebbles” Reid has finally issued a statement. If you’ve seen the film, you know that Pebbles wasn’t exactly portrayed in a positive light. In fact, she was made out to be a conniving, money-hungry record exec that took advantage of 3 young women that wanted to make it. Whether these are really the “facts” is up for debate, but one thing’s for sure: Pebbles is PISSED. (As was her son, who has already spoke out.) “This unprovoked attack has been extremely upsetting to me and my family,” Pebbles said in her statement, which she says took so long to release because she was so shocked. “‘CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story’ contains many false and defamatory statements and scenes about me.” Pebbles insists she has never cheated the group she “discovered, managed, and mentored,” and plans to defend her name by any means necessary. She says her attorney is already in the process of demanding retractions from VH1.

LA Reid & Pebbles’ Son Speaks Out About TLC Movie (He’s Not Pleased…)

The TLC movie, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, didn’t exactly portray Pebbles Reid in the best light. It painted her as a money-hungry industry exec who cheated the girls out of millions, and naturally, her son isn’t pleased about it. Check out what Aaron Reid had to say about it in the gallery.

(Photo) The TLC Movie Was So On Point….But They Definitely Messed Up With THIS!

The TLC movie was amazing last night, with the ladies accurately portrayed and the story of the best-selling female R&B group of all time properly told. However, there was one bit of a continuity issue that Twitter users went crazy for, and it appears in the image above. Can you tell what it is?

(Photos) Keri Hilson Pays Homage To T-Boz…But Does T-Boz Care?

Last night, TLC was on everyone’s minds as VH1 debuted their biopic, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. Having been influenced by them as a teen, singer Keri Hilson dug in her crates for her T-Boz wig, and posted a photo on Instagram, paying homage to her and thanking her for making it cool to be a tomboy in the 90’s. A fan RT’d Keri’s post with an unimpressed Emoji icon, which T-Boz then RT’d, appearing as if she co-signed the unimpressed feeling. However, I did a little digging…and I see that T-Boz tweets from Android. Meaning, she doesn’t even see the Emojis, so she likely had no idea what the face was that she RT’d. LOL! Check out the tweet in the gallery.

VH1‘s CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story will debut on the network on Monday night, but this past Tuesday, industry insiders were able to get the first look via a private screening in NYC. The TLC ladies were in attendance along with the actresses that portray them in the film (Lil Mama as the late Left Eye, Keke Palmer as Chilli and Drew Sidora as T-Boz), as well as tons of other celebs. Check out some pics from the red carpet in the gallery! CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story premieres October 21st at 9pm on VH1.
