This is HILARIOUS! As you should know by now, Too $hort was arrested early yesterday morning for a DUI, but attempted to run from cops before they could cuff him. His genius plan didn’t work out so well when he tripped just yards away and was quickly apprehended. It was only a matter of time before that footage hit the web, and you can watch it below!
The Drugs Too $hort Allegedly Dumped When Arrested Was Meth! But He Denies It’s His!
Too $hort was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic stop earlier this week and failing a breathalyzer test, but he also got charged with felony drug possession after he allegedly dumped his drugs into the backseat of the cop car when being taken to the station. Now the report on the “drugs” has come out, and they’re revealed to be meth! That’s pretty hardcore, $hort. However, the sources say this will likely turn out to be E that was just laced with meth. Okay, a little less crazy…but still not good! The thing is, $hort is denying that they were his drugs (of course, lol) but he does have a pretty valid excuse! See what he said below.

Earlier this morning, news broke that legendary rapper Too $hort was arrested and charged with both a DUI and felony drug possession. Paparazzi were right there upon his release this afternoon, though, and he seemed a bit confused about the charges. The booking sheet he was given only listed the drug charge, when he thought it was also a DUI. However, this doesn’t mean he only got one. TMZ explains that cops tend to book people on the highest charge, and then leave the remaining charges to the D.A.’s office, however it decides to prosecute. Too $hort Arrested For DUI…And It’s A Crazy Story!
Damn, what was good with Too $hort last night?! He was pulled over early this morning in L.A. for a traffic violation, but smelled of alcohol when cops approached. When they attempted to give him a breathalyzer test, the rapper allegedly tried to run and ended up tripping only a few feet away! SMH! Needless to say, the cops got him and arrested him. Then things got even more crazy: he tried to dump “narcotics” (which I’m assuming was just weed) in the back of the car! He finally took the breathalyzer test and blew a .09 (which is above the .08 limit) and was then booked on a DUI and felony narcotics possession. Sheesh! We’ll keep you updated!

Too $hort has so many albums he can’t remember what songs were on which one anymore, so when he heard “All Gold Everything” and its similarities to one of his songs from the 90’s, “I Luv”, he just saw it as paying homage. Too $hort is gracious in this interview where he discusses the way borrowing different styles and recycling is the root of hip-hop, and it’s elementary in what he does as an artist.
