Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 5/31/15 … A$AP Rocky Tops The Charts!

A$AP Rocky is now two-for-two with number one albums, as his sophomore effort At.Long.Last.A$AP. tops the charts this week with 146k units sold! This is his first release since his debut Long.Live.A$AP, which debuted atop the tally dated February 2, 2013 with 139k copies sold. Suffice to say, Pretty Flacko‘s still got it! Another big debut came from Boosie Badazz, whose first post-prison release, Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, comes in at number 3 with 64k units sold. Congrats! Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 2/1/15 … Congrats To Ne-Yo On A Top 5 Debut!

Congrats are in order for the homie Ne-Yo! His new album Non-Fiction debuted at number 5 this week, selling 59k units (SPS) since its release last Tuesday. The singer is 6 for 6 with top 10 debuts now, starting off at number 1 in 2006 with In My Own Words, 2007’s Because of You at number 1, 2008’s Year of the Gentleman at number 2, 2010’s Libra Scale at number 9 and R.E.D. at number 4 in 2012. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 11/16/14 … Congrats To Big K.R.I.T. On A Top 5 Debut!

It almost feels like the golden era of album sales this week on the Billboard charts, as the top 4 selling albums are all in the 6-figure range, and 3 of the 4 artists actually come from said era! And though he didn’t hit the 6-figure mark, Big K.R.I.T. had a great debut with his new album Cadillactica, moving 44k units in its first week out and nabbing the number 5 spot on the Billboard 200. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 11/2/14 … Taylor Swift Sells 1 Million In A Week!

As we approach the end of the year, NO album had gone platinum yet in 2014…and here Taylor Swift comes and does so in a week. Go ‘head, Tay Tay! The young singer’s fourth studio album 1989 has officially sold 1.287 million units in the week ending November 2, making for not only the biggest sales week this year, but the biggest sales week for ANY artist since Eminem’s The Eminem Show in 2002! Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 10/19/14 … Congrats To The Game & Hoodie Allen On Top 10 Debuts!

Both The Game and Hoodie Allen had good debuts with their new albums, Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf and People Keep Talking, respectively. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 10/5/14 … Prince Has Both A #5 & #8 Debut!

Prince is having a pretty great week, as he has not one but two albums that debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week. His solo effort, Art Official Age, came in at number 5 with 51k units sold, which his collaborative project with 3rdEyeGirl, Plectrumelectrum, managed to nab the #8 spot with 26k units sold. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 9/14/14 … Congrats To Lecrae & Jhene Aiko On The #1 & #3 Debuts!

For the first week in like, forever…the Frozen soundtrack has finally been knocked out of the top 10! In its place are tons of debuts from some of our favorite artists, including Jhene Aiko coming in at number 3 with first-week sales of 70k for Souled Out. Holding down the top spot is “Christian hip-hop” rapper Lecrae, whose Anomaly did a solid 88k in its first week, and makes for the first title to crown both Gospel Albums and the Billboard 200, and just the fifth set to lead both Christian Albums and the Billboard 200. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 9/7/14 … Congrats To Jeezy On A #2 Debut!

Jeezy arrives just behind Maroon 5 on the Billboard 200 this week, with his new album Seen It All: The Autobiography, debuting at number 2 with 121,000 copies sold. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 8/24/14 … Congrats To Wiz Khalifa On His FIRST #1 Album!

A huge congrats are in order for Wiz Khalifa, as he’s earned his first number one album with Blacc Hollywood. The project marks his third major-label release, following up 2011’s Rolling Papers and 2012’s O.N.I.F.C. Both albums debuted and peaked at number 2, but Blacc Hollywood‘s solid start of 90k finally gave Wiz that top spot. Well deserved, a nice contrast to the bad news Wiz had last weekend.
