Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 10/5/14 … Prince Has Both A #5 & #8 Debut!

Prince is having a pretty great week, as he has not one but two albums that debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 this week. His solo effort, Art Official Age, came in at number 5 with 51k units sold, which his collaborative project with 3rdEyeGirl, Plectrumelectrum, managed to nab the #8 spot with 26k units sold. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 9/14/14 … Congrats To Lecrae & Jhene Aiko On The #1 & #3 Debuts!

For the first week in like, forever…the Frozen soundtrack has finally been knocked out of the top 10! In its place are tons of debuts from some of our favorite artists, including Jhene Aiko coming in at number 3 with first-week sales of 70k for Souled Out. Holding down the top spot is “Christian hip-hop” rapper Lecrae, whose Anomaly did a solid 88k in its first week, and makes for the first title to crown both Gospel Albums and the Billboard 200, and just the fifth set to lead both Christian Albums and the Billboard 200. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 9/7/14 … Congrats To Jeezy On A #2 Debut!

Jeezy arrives just behind Maroon 5 on the Billboard 200 this week, with his new album Seen It All: The Autobiography, debuting at number 2 with 121,000 copies sold. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 8/24/14 … Congrats To Wiz Khalifa On His FIRST #1 Album!

A huge congrats are in order for Wiz Khalifa, as he’s earned his first number one album with Blacc Hollywood. The project marks his third major-label release, following up 2011’s Rolling Papers and 2012’s O.N.I.F.C. Both albums debuted and peaked at number 2, but Blacc Hollywood‘s solid start of 90k finally gave Wiz that top spot. Well deserved, a nice contrast to the bad news Wiz had last weekend. Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 8/17/14

It’s definitely been a major year for movie soundtracks on the Billboard 200. The Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack reigns at number one once again, moving another 93,000 copies for its second week on the charts. Check out the full top 10 below.


Billboard’s Top 10 Album Sales, Week Ending 7.27.14 … Congrats To Common On A #6 Debut!
