Trayvon Martin’s Parents Respond To Juror B29 Who Claimed ‘Zimmerman Got Away With Murder’

As the only minority on the jury, ‘Juror B29’ from the Trayvon Martin/ George Zimmerman trial finally broke her silence on her true feelings of the verdict. According to her, she claims NOW that ‘Zimmerman got away with murder.’ A little late to express these feelings now, eh? However, Trayvon’s devastated parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin responded back to the juror who had a part in letting their 17-year-old son’s killer free with no punishment.


Trayvon Martin’s Parents Finally Speak Out, & Boy Were They “Stunned” At The Verdict!

17-year-old, Trayvon Martin was shot and killed February 2012, and his killer has since gotten off scot-free. It’s been almost a week since anyone has heard from Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin. After making a few stops to, The Today Show and Good Morning America, they finally speak out. This morning began the long awaited trial for George Zimmerman, in regards to the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin back in February of 2012. Tracy Martin, Trayvon’s father spoke about what he expects throughout these proceeding (video after the jump) and the family released a statement: “We are relieved that the trial is starting today with the selection of jury members. We are seeking justice for our son and a fair trial. Trayvon’s life was taken unnecessarily and tragically, but we call upon the community to be peaceful. We have placed our faith in the justice system and ask that the community do the same. Please pray for Trayvon and for our family.” Currently, jury selection is in progress. Trayvon Martin’s Parents Settle Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin’s parents, have settled a wrongful death lawsuit against the against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision. It is believed that Martin and Fulton settled for at least $1 million. The lawsuit amount will remain confidential. Read more below.

One year after the death of their son, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, continue to speak out and advocate against gun violence. To a great capacity, they would like all children to know that they can walk the streets and not be afraid to make it to their intended destination. “We (want to) make sure that no other parents have to go through what we have gone through in the last year,” Fulton told CNN’s Piers Morgan. I couldn’t imagine. Fulton and Martin also mention how they are aware that the trial for George Zimmerman is out of their hands. What ever jurors decided, they will be content with that. “We just want to have that trial, and let the jury decide,” she said. “And whatever decision comes out of that, we’re going to accept that. “We may not like it, but we’re going to accept it.” I just hope everything works out.
