Last fall, a woman by the name of Shanise Taylor sued Lil Wayne, his Trukfit clothing line, his record label and photographer Derick G, after her photo was used on shirts from the line. Shanise said she never authorized her image to be used, as the pics are from a random, unrelated photo shoot she did for fun back in 2011. She also didn’t like how they photoshopped the image to make it appear as if she’s not wearing underwear, and the fact that she was “on apparel associated with misogyny and violence.” She demanded damages for “the harm to her reputation, mental anguish, humiliation and the harm it has caused her career.”

Karen Civil Teams Up With Lil Wayne To Give Back To Haiti For The Holidays
This past Friday, media maven Karen Civil’s Live Civil imprint teamed up with Lil Wayne’s Trukfit clothing line to bring a merry Christmas to over 500 students in Haiti. Scholastic Corporation and L’union Suite also pitched in to add to the holiday joy! During the Live Civil Christmas Giveaway, each child was gifted an outfit from Trukfit, as well as a Live Civil Thinking Cap from Karen’s partnership with New Era. Haitian-American professional boxer Andre Berto even surprised the kids by dressing up as Santa Claus and passing out toys, and Scholastic donated a book to each of the 500 children, while Karen did a live reading of her new book, Be You & Live Civil. This all went down at the Live Civil playground, something Karen has been working hard at building in Haiti since her 30th birthday in 2014.
Uh Oh! Lil Wayne Is Getting Sued By An Underwear Model For WHAT?!
It looks like Lil Wayne has made en enemy with the female who is smack dab in the middle of his Trukfit shirt. You know, the model who looks like she doesn’t have any panties on. Shanise Taylor is pissed off because she said she never once agreed to work with Wayne’s company and thinks he represents “misogyny.” In the court documents from the lawsuit, Taylor explains that back in 2011 she did a random photoshoot. She says the photographer sent her the photos she took and she thought that was the end of it. WELP, looks like that isn’t the case.

In the early hours of this morning, Justin Bieber was arrested on South Beach after cops pulled him over for drag-racing in his yellow Lambo, and found that he was not only DRUNK, but was driving on an expired license. He also resisted arrest, so that will likely result in additional trouble for the pop star. Just before he was speeding through the Miami streets (reportedly against Def Jam singer Khalil,) the Biebs was over at Lil Wayne’s indoor skate park, brushing up on his basketball skills with Young Money president, Mack Maine.
