(Video) NBA: Cavs Players Shower Tyronn Lue With Water Bottles After He Breaks Playoff Record For New Coach

In the process of easily defeating the Raptors last night, 108-89, the Cleveland Cavaliers helped their coach Tyronn Lue break a record. Lue surpassed Pat Riley for the most consecutive wins for a first time coach in the playoffs with the Cavs 10th straight win to open this years playoffs. Riley previously held the record with nine. In the locker room after the game, Lebron and the rest of the squad set the coach up so they could get it on camera, as they rushed him with water bottles. At this point, who knows when the streak will end because it doesn’t appear as if the Raptors are going to put up much of a fight.

NBA: Raptors Kyle Lowry Wanted To Hang Out With Cavs Coach Tyronn Lue During Their Series

Say what now? There is certainly something strange going on with Kyle Lowry during this series against the Cavs. I’m not sure if he is feeling overwhelmed, or maybe hiding an injury but mentally he is not in the right place and that’s bad news for a Raptors team that already had no shot to win this series. During the middle of last night’s game, Lowry straight up walked off the court and headed to the locker room to “decompress”. What the hell does that even mean?? The theory about his mind being all over the place could be accurate because it’s also being reported that Lowry wanted to hang out with Cavs coach, Tyronn Lue and watch the OKC/Warriors game together.

NBA: Tyronn Lue Took Control of Cavs By Calling Out LeBron & Telling Him ‘Shut the f–k up’

There’s been jokes that LeBron James was the general manager, coach and star player of the Cleveland Cavaliers.  With David Blatt as the coach, the Cavs were winning, in fact they had a 30-11 record leading the Eastern Conference but they weren’t winning the right way.  They were dysfunctional and it was clear things needed to change.  Tyronn Lue took over and did something that needed to be done, he told LeBron to STFU.

(Video) NBA: Tyronn Lue Says He Didn’t Realize Iman Shumpert Treated Him Like A Towel Rack

Tyronn Lue might be saying the right things now but when Iman Shumpert forgot he was the coach and thought he was an equipment manager, Lue sure seemed to feel a certain way about it. With all the controversy surrounding the Cavs recently, fans noticed that during the loss to the Rockets this week, Lebron seemed to have more authority as coach since he wasn’t playing and the guys appeared to be listening more to him than Lue. To make things worse, late in the game, Shumpert threw his towel on Lue without even thinking about it. He likely didn’t mean anything by it but it was another example of people to point out that players don’t respect him. He says he had no idea it happened.

(Video) NBA: Despite Tyronn Lue Trying to Coach, LeBron James Takes Over During Game

There’s been tons of jokes that LeBron James is the star player, general manager and coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but now we’ve actually seen him in action.  James was given the night off to rest during the Cavs game against the Houston Rockets but he still found a way to get into the game.

NBA: Cavs Talked To LeBron About Hanging With Wade, The Brotherhood Comments & His Cryptic Tweets

The Cleveland Cavalier are the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and are gearing up to make a return to the NBA Finals, but that’s not what’s being discussed in the headlines right now; the focus is on LeBron James.  On Saturday he spent the halftime warmup talking and laughing with Dwyane Wade, instead of with his teammates, he spent extra time in Miami, sending out cryptic tweets and now the news of him wanting to play with “The Brotherhood”, which includes Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul.  The Cavs apparently had enough.
