Unemployment Rate Down To Lowest Since December ’08

There’s good news and bad news for the unemployment rate. The good news is that the rate is the lowest is has been since December 2008, the bad news is that it could take up to five years before employment is fully restored. Last month 165,000 Jobs were added to the economy, making the percent down to 7.5 from 7.6 percent. Sadly there are still 12 million people unemployed in the U.S. that are unemployed and if we continue at this rate, we won’t have full employment until 2021. Read more below.


Unemployment Rate Drops In 29 States

This is good news, the unemployment rate has dropped in 29 states last month. Now only three states are below the 10% mark of unemployment. Most states are over the 5% mark making them fully employed and the national rate sits at 8.3%. The dropping of the unemployment rates show an increase of U.S. labor markets and is better for the overall economy. Read more below. Julie1205
