Drake Announces He’ll Be Dropping Up To FIVE Unreleased Records Before 2014

He just released his third album Nothing Was The Same earlier this fall, but Drake already has more music for fans to bump to for 2013. Similar to how he dropped multiple ‘just because’ records in June as the prelude to NTWS, Drizzy will follow the same formula for December. “Not an EP, but maybe a blog thing like how I did ‘Versace,’ ‘The Motion,’ all those in one night,” Drake told Vibe. “I’ll probably do ‘Trophies’ and three or four other records.” Among the records, he says, could quite possily be the “Wu-Tang Forever” remix as well. Can’t wait!

Long-time producer, Mike Dean has worked with many artists throughout his career, Kanye West being the more recent. Dated back to the 90s, Dean worked with hip-hop legend, Tupac and after his death he admits, Daz Dilinger and himself stole and released some tracks from the west coast rapper of him talking greasy about well-known rivals. “After [2Pac] died, Daz Dillinger and I stole a bunch of reels from Suge Knight. We released like six songs that were really crazy talking,’ Dean says. Pac came at everyone, “lot’s of shots at Puffy, and B.I.G., Dre, saying their names, [and how he] was going to kill them.” CRAZY! Even though he’s a superstar now, Kanye West went through the same process to get famous that everyone else did. Yeezy is currently in Paris recording his new album, but it’s never bad to get a reminder of old Kanye.
