DJ Camilo and DJ L held it down on the 1’s and 2’s at W.i.P. in NYC last night, as Terrence J celebrated another year of life with his celeb friends. DJ Khaled was also in the building, celebrating the release of his new single “No New Friends,” and the guys were joined by Scott Disick (a little random…but Terrence does have ties to the Kardashians so I suppose it makes sense), Love & Hip-Hop’s Kaylin Garcia, Wale, Coke Boys’ Chinx Drugz, Lance Gross and more! J. Cole Announces “Born Sinner” Release Date….And He’s Giving Someone Competition!
Just a few minutes ago, J. Cole took to Twitter to reveal the release date for his highly anticipated sophomore album, Born Sinner. Fans have been waiting for a new project from Jermaine since he dropped his debut almost 2 years ago now! (It was September of 2011…) B.S. was originally slated to come out on January 28th of this year, but J revealed on New Year’s Eve that wasn’t happening. Now we have a new date, and hopefully this one sticks! However, there is one rapper that may be hoping it DOESN’T stick…Wale’s The Gift drops the very same day. That may be a fun, friendly competition though, and help drive both artists’ sales..a la the Kanye vs. 50 Cent album face-off in 2007. What do you think?
