Guess Which Beat Pusha T Passed On?!
Pusha T sat down with Squeeze magazine for an interview and during it he says that he passed on a certain Hit Boy beat. The beat was picked up by another artist and is currently dominating the charts but that doesn’t mean Pusha regrets his decision. He even said that he doesn’t think the record would be as special if he used it and I definitely agree with him, it’s not a Pusha type of beat. Jay-Z And Kanye West Being Sued Over “Watch The Throne” Sample
Jay-Z and Kanye West are being sued by soul singer Syl Johnson for a sample they used on Watch The Throne. Johnson claims that Jay and Yeezy illegally used parts of his song “Different Strokes” on their song “The Joy.” Johnson’s lawyers are saying the Kanye tried to clear a sample of the song for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy but wasn’t able to receive the proper clearance so the song was scrapped from the album.
