Did Kanye West Actually Steal “Waves” Idea From A Cleveland Artist?

There has been much speculation in the whole Kanye West/Wiz Khalifa/Amber Rose beef in the last week as to whether Kanye is really riding Max B’s wave in jacking the incarcerated artist’s “wave” concept, once he changed his highly anticipated album SWISH to WAVES. Now, new evidence has surfaced that has lead to some skepticism that Kanye actually drew inspiration from an additional unsigned artist from the midwest. Hit the jump.

Can we say, plug. The “Waves” documentary, starring Max B, is not to be confused with the upcoming Kanye West album, “Waves”; although they will both be released on the same exact day. Max B, who floated on “My Wave,” is the cause of the Internet chaos that took place on Wednesday [Jan. 27]. After Kanye decided to change the title of his album from SWISH to Waves, Wiz Khalifa got wind of it. Apparently, speaking your peace is not what Kanye wants to hear; the boy went in. Kanye West was really out of line when he brought Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose’s son into his Twitter rant. You never discuss the kids, bro…ESPECIALLY because Wiz wasn’t even being disrespectful. It seems like exes have just been on Yeezy’s mind lately, even before yesterday’s drama, as a newly-leaked track is discussing a former flame as well. I’m sure Kim is really not feeling any of this drama! I mean, he popped out two kids for this guy, and here he is worrying about everyone from before her!

It looks like Kanye West has officially joined Blac Chyna in the competition of the most petty people of 2016. After Kanye announced that he will be naming his forthcoming album Waves, Wiz Khalifa felt that he was being disrespectful. Wiz vented via his Twitter page and made it very clear that he wasn’t feeling the new album title. Much to our surprise, Kanye fired back and let’s just say sh*t got EXTREMELY real on our Twitter timelines.

Fans Panic As Kanye West’s “WAVES” Concert At MSG Mysteriously Disappears From Ticketmaster

Kanye West recently announced that he would premier his highly anticipated album, SWISH…WAVES, at Madison Square Garden. Ye planned for the album to be streamed live inside that stadium while he simultaneously showcased the third collection of his Yeezy line. American Express pre-sale tickets were scheduled to go on sale at 10 AM EST on Wednesday however the page mysteriously disappeared sending fans into a panic. Ticketmaster’s site is popping up with a message saying the event no longer exists. According to TMZ, who reached out to a source close to Kanye, the concert is still happening but the issue with the site and pre-sale are unclear. While Ticketmaster and American Express have yet to comment about the issue, it has been reported that Friday’s sale to the general public is still on. Perhaps, the issue has something to do with Kanye’s last minute title change on the album..but who knows? Stay tuned for details. Click the gallery for more.

Free The Wave: Wiz Khalifa Has Some Words For Kanye Trying To Claim Max B’s Wave

Kanye West is dropping his highly-anticipated album sooner than later, but there seems to be a bunch of controversy and confusion in regards to the album title. First, Kanye told us that his forthcoming project will be named SWISH. However, he then let us know it is being called Waves instead. Now as we all remember, Harlem’s own Max B was the originator of the entire “wavey” trend that blew up and is STILL relevant to this day, despite the fact he is serving basically a life sentence in prison.
