Tech Talk Mobile: WebOS 3.0 Booted Onto Evo 3D

As was heavily implied in HP’s announcement that they’re open-sourcing webOS, there are a lot of open source developers already hard at work on our favorite mobile OS. The group is led by Rod Whitby of WebOS Internals, but it’s not really a group, per se, than an idea. The idea being for stuff to truly be awesome one must be disciplined and consistent, even with open source work. Tech Rumors: HP using TouchPad To Test Windows 8

Get your salt shakers ready, folks, because it’s rumor time. Clayton Morris is back with another report from deep inside the bowels of HP, this time claiming that HP is using their supply of ARM-powered HP TouchPad tablets to test the developer preview ofWindows 8. It’s crazy because they have been doing so well in the Android eco system, but I suppose the Google/Motorola venture has them a little shook up, so apparently the HTC chairwoman Cher Wang has confirmed that the vendor is considering a purchase of a new smartphone operating system, you can see her statement after the Jump!
