(Video) Lil Wayne – Weezy Wednesdays [Episode 24: “Grindin” Trailer]

It’s been a whole month since we’ve gotten a new installment of Lil Wayne’s weekly ‘Weezy Wednesday’ series, BUT he’s been busy on tour with Drake, so I guess he gets a pass. As we get closer to Tha Carter V‘s release date on October 28, Tunechi is back with episode 24, and this time provides a brief trailer for his Drake-assisted single “Grindin’,” revealing when we can expect the official video. Find out when it’s dropping below!

Although we should be at episode 24, Tunechi skipped a week last week, so…we’re not. LOL. For this week’s Weezy Wednesdays webisode, Wayne helped raise awareness about Lou Gehrig’s disease with the “Ice Bucket Challenge” that’s currently trending on social media. The gist is you either donate $100 to the ALS Association, or you get a bucket of ice on you (on video for social media, of course) and then tag at least 3 people that have to take on the challenge next. It’s a little silly but at least it’s helping to spread the word for a good cause! Check out Tunechi getting iced below.

Young Tunechi kicks it with his newest artist Euro and soccer sensation Cristiano Ronaldo in the latest episode of Weezy Wednesdays. Get into a little Carter V talk below.

(Video) Lil Wayne – Weezy Wednesdays [Episode 21: Total Slaughter Battle Review]

Lil Wayne ventured into talk of battle rap for his latest webisode of Weezy Wednesdays, inspired by this past weekend’s ‘Total Slaughter’ battle. Though he has yet to watch and doesn’t know the outcome of their battle, Tune shared his excitement over Murda Mook and Loaded Lux getting back in the ring, but made sure he let the world know he’s still Team Jae Millz…since Mook and Millz had quite the battle back in the early 00’s on Smack DVD. You’ve gotta ride with the home team! He also gave a shout out to Joe Budden, of whom he’s aware lost to Hollow Da Don, but couldn’t comment too much on it because again, he’s yet to see the battle. Tune added that he feels there’s no real loss in battle, particularly with an established artist like Joe, because he looks at it as a sport, and if you can still craft dope music, you’ll never lose. Do you agree? Listen to his logic in episode 21 of “Weezy Wednesdays” below and let us know your thoughts!

(Video) Lil Wayne – Weezy Wednesdays [Episode 20: Hot Boys/Cash Money Days]

Episode 20 of ‘Weezy Wednesdays’ includes a flashback into the Cash Money./Hot Boys days; where Wayne shares memories of the behind the scenes action of the crew. Watch as Wayne tells epic stories including casually flying a helicopter on set and more here.

(Video) Weezy Wednesdays [Episode 19: Introducing Reginae Carter As Newest Young Money Member!]

Young Mula baby! Lil Wayne used this week’s episode of “Weezy Wednesdays” to introduce his daughter, Reginae Carter, to the world as the newest member of his Young Money imprint. After chatting with the camera and thanking fans for supporting the web series, explaining that the videos were his way of staying “social” since he doesn’t “understand the internet,” Tune then directed his attention to the Reginaetors (hope I spelled that right!) and debuted his first born’s first official music video, “Mind Goin’ Crazy.” I honestly wasn’t expecting much at ALL from the 16-year-old, but not only is her voice quite good and the visuals put together pretty dope (almost reminds me of a Missy video from back in the day,) baby Carter has her facial expressions on POINT! She’s definitely stuntin’ like her daddy! Her debut album Becoming Reginae is coming soon. Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts!
