Chance The Rapper has to be smiling from ear to ear! The Coloring Book rapper has just been invited by fellow Chicago native President Obama to perform at the White House for their annual National Christmas Tree Lighting concert.

Kendrick Lamar is using his celebrity and well-deserved exposure to support children who could benefit from his wise words. The Compton rapper released “Pay It Forward,” a video that shows his recent stop at the White House to meet up with President Barack Obama and discuss in detail “the importance of mentoring the youth,” and other topics. While the meet-and-greet was a highlight for the “Pay It Forward” visual, Kendrick is also seen interacting with a young man on the basketball court. “It’s only right that I mentor a young person with the same wisdom that was given to me.
