Some OKC fans are very understanding about Kevin Durant deciding to take his talents to the bay area. They appreciated what he did for their city and community for the past eight years and they know he gave them everything he had on the basketball court. On the flip side however, there are some fans who are not so easy going about him leaving. We’ve seen the people burning jerseys and running their mouths but some fans are getting their own revenge in a different way.


You Will Soon Be Able To Add Videos To Yelp?!

Starting June Yelp will allow you to upload three, 12 second clips. Pretty soon you’ll be able to give everyone a video tour of your favorite burger joint, lunch spot, coffee shop, or bar. However, first you will have to become an “elite” yelper as the feature will only be available to them before going fully public. Be on the look out for the those Yelp review videos.


Yelp For iOS Adds A Killer Feature!!

Before today, users of the popular social review site Yelp were unable to post reviews of businesses directly from their phones. Previously, users had to log on online to add reviews. Today sees the release of an updated Yelp mobile app that puts the service on par with its major competitor, Foursquare, allowing iOS users to add reviews on the go. The feature is expected to come to Android soon.

Yelp is known for having reliable reviews and recommendations of top restaurants, shopping, nightlife, entertainment,and any other services. Now the company has partnered up with Locu to allow customers to view restaurants menus on the site.

I have found some real nice food spots thanks to sites like Yelp. Do you read reviews of restaurants before you try them out? Food review sites and apps like Yelp and Foodspotting make eating well superbly easy. Before setting foot outside, about 45% of consumers have already chosen where to eat with the help of an online dining guide. Online reviews are a huge decider of what’s for dinner — 57% of patrons rely on them. Even more interesting is that despite the rise of online food directories such as Urbanspoon or Menupages, 41% of consumers still wine and dine at a particular restaurant after receiving a promotional email. The National Restaurant Association drew up the infographic below showcasing how technology is changing the food industry.
