The Rutgers University freshman whose privacy was violated after two classmates allegedly taped him during a “sexual encounter” is believed to be a Ridgewood, N.J., high school graduate who jumped to his death last week from the George Washington Bridge.

Two Rutgers students, Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei, were charged last week with illegally taping another student having sex and posting the images on the Internet.

Sources reportedly told the station that the alleged victim committed suicide last Thursday after jumping to his death from the George Washington Bridge.

The victim’s car was reportedly found nearby with his cell phone and computer inside, authorities said.

However, reports say that no body has been recovered.
