Although Winfrey’s goodbye has been never-ending — she announced in November 2009 that she was ending “Oprah” after 25 years — the date of her final show wasn’t known until yesterday, when it was confirmed by her production company, Harpo.
No word yet on who Winfrey’s final guest(s) will be, or what format the final show will take.
Once “Oprah” ends, Winfrey will turn her attention to her struggling cable network, OWN — which launched to less-than-steller viewership in January.
