B. Howard emerged an international pop star with the success of his first hit single “Super Model” which he co-produced with legendary hit maker Teddy Riley and Ra Charm; and now he’s back with the follow up single titled “DANCEFLOOR” which features musical guests QuestLove of the Roots and Benjamin Wright. The feel good club groove will make its debut on MTV Japan today with the video directed by Joshua Harris.
“DANCEFLOOR ” is the second release from the award nominated songwriter/producer’s premier solo project GENESIS and usher’s in the summertime with another club hit that makes you want to move. Heavily influenced by his idol Micheal Jackson, and hearlded as the “Prince of Pop” by critics and fans alike, the song is a contemporary throwback to an era of quality music designed to make the listener get lost in the music. Questlove, a key member of The Roots, detailed why he lent his drumming skills to the newly released single, “DANCEFLOOR,” “He’s just an extraordinary talent. It’s almost as if an unspoken spirit has blessed him. I consider it an honor to have worked with this man.”
“DANCEFLOOR” marks the second US release of the international sensation fresh off a world-wind tour of sold out shows throughout Asia. The video makes its debut today on MTV Japan and Vevo and sets the stage for his US blitz. “DANCEFLOOR ” is available on Itunes later this week.
