Early this morning, the internet ran rampant with a rumor that dancehall star Vybz Kartel had escaped a Jamaican prison, where he’s currently being held for two murder charges, conspiracy to murder, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana. The Jamaica Observer has spoken with prison guards at the facility Vybz is being held at and they all have debunked the crazy rumor. Where do people come up with these things?
