Former boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya faces his first round in court Wednesday with model Angelica Marie Cecora, who claims he assaulted her during what she described as a kinky, drug-fueled hotel romp last March.

De La Hoya denies the allegations. He will not be at Manhattan Supreme Court, but Cecora is expected to hold a news conference on the steps.

She is suing him for assault, battery, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

She said, “I want him to know he can’t deny what happened. Another witness could come forward from that night.”

De La Hoya filed a motion to dismiss but did not yet respond to all of her claims.

Cecora’s lawyer, Tony Evans, said, “We will notify the court there was another adult woman in the room, and we expect to call her as a witness.”

De La Hoya’s lawyer, Judd Burstein, declined to comment.
