Just 24 hours before the Super Bowl, the Patriots made their final transaction in a year full of them. In one of the coldest moves ever, the Patriots released WR Tiquan Underwood and promoted DE Alex Silvestro.
Check what Tiquan had to say about it after the jump…

New England traditionally makes roster moves on Saturdays, primarily because no team can claim the player cut until Monday. The led the league in such moves.

We’re not sure where Underwood will watch the game, but a lot of people are upset with the Patriots for making such a late move. Underwood is taking the release well.

“This Is Nothing But MOTIVATION,” Underwood wrote on Twitter. “I Been Thru A LOT…But There Are Ppl In This World w/ More Serious Problems So I Cant Hang The Head….Thank You Lord #Blessed . . . Good Luck To The New Enland Organization, The Coaches, & All My Teammates… #PatsNation.”
