We Mos Def LOVE music here at #IFWT(Duhhhhh), And since I am all about Tech, I found 2 ways to get Social, musically, Have you heard of an App called Soundtracking?? And Klout just launched a Beta site called Splash.fm, Both are great for Sharing the music you love!! Hit the Jump.

1st Soundtracking, My Homie GiGi put me on to this, an App that you ‘post’ music to and share with the people you are following and are following you. Those followers can come from Twitter, Facebook, foursquare, or just the people you find in soundtracking. You post in Soundtracking and share those posts via twitter, Facebook, foursquare. the integration is nice! You can also add a Pic with your post giving it an instagram feel(just without filters, and once again, location based check-in is available(if that’s your thing), but I assume you knew that with foursquare integration. You can make posts from search music within soundtrack(something someone else uploaded or shared), or Music I.D. will let you identify the music around you(kinda like Shazam) then find it within the system, OR simply upload a tune through your device!!! It’s also a web version of it, But This Is a Great Mobile way to be Social with your Musical Needs!!!! Here Are some Images from the App:
Now IF you don’t have devices that can go Mobile with you Music sharing, No Worries, Klout(THE Social Network Metric) recently launched a site that does some of the same things “soundtracking”, but true to Klout, it’s also infused with ‘Does Your Musical Opinion Matter’, which could really change the game on who you listen to about you musical choices!! They Started Me out as a 10, and time of this post, I only uploaded 2 songs so it only went to a 13, but thats ok, If you know me, you know the ‘Musical Klout’ I have(almost 15 years in the game!!), But As I read the confirmation email Splash sent, the way you raise you score, is get followers, and have them rep lash you music!!! I really Like this Website, and I’m gonna get the Whole #IFWT team on it, I mean we are what matters out there anyway(BUT Just remember Who told you about it, that’s the only Credit I need!!!
