Evidently, people love to pay absurd amounts of money for Kobe Bryant-related products. Apparently, they’re also willing to pay to compete against him on the basketball court. Per the OC Register:

“Kobe Bryant’s game-worn protective mask went for $67,100 via auction last month. In another exercise to benefit Bryant’s family foundation and fight youth homelessness, a July 2 H-O-R-S-E game against Bryant went for $23,200 in a week-long auction that ended Monday at 4 p.m. Pacific time. My favorite part of the eBay bidding history was one bidder offering $20,200 Wednesday and then cancelling it Friday with the explanation ‘can no longer pay.’ The H-O-R-S-E game will take place during Bryant’s annual Kobe Basketball Academy, held July 1-5 on the campus of UC Santa Barbara for ages 8 to 18.”
