Many people are in an uproar about Snoop Dogg’s rebirth to Rastafarian, probably because Snoop kinda makes it seem like a joke like changing his name to Snoop Lion, etc. An original member of the Wailers and the Rastafari Millennium Council have slammed Snoop saying that he is not really a Rasta, but Snoop does have one strong supporter and that is Rohan Marley. Rohan says that he doesn’t understand why fellow Rastas will have an issue with gaining another as well as how he thinks his father would feel about the whole issue. Find out what he said below.
Rohan said, “Why condemn a man for his love of Rastafari and Bob Marley?” He also said that his father’s name shouldn’t even be brought up during the conversations about Snoop being a Rasta because “he would have embraced Snoop’s reincarnation and welcomed the positivity.” Maybe Snoop should approach his reincarnation to Rasta more seriously and then he wouldn’t have such an issue.
The only thing said in this article is he’s not taking it seriously because he changed his stage name. Well wouldn’t that make sense since he’s only doing reggae now. How is he not taking it seriously? Dumb article for even questioning a legend on his beliefs and growth in life. Props to Rohan for sticking up for him
