A 12-year-old boy from Long Island supposedly made a “hit list” containing the names of students, teachers, and other faculty members whom he wanted to kill. Not only did the boy want to carry out a mass murder at school, he also listed the names of family members that he wanted dead as well. The student, who has not been identified because of his age, has never been labeled as a violent student or kid so authorities are looking deeper into the situation. So far, the boy has not been charged with anything. Read more below.

Glen Cove police interviewed the boy’s mother on Thursday as well as doing a sweep of his home. The search resulted in no weapons being found leading police to believe that the boy had no way of pulling off the “hit list.” Police reported that they do not believe the child really intended on harming anyone, but the school has decided to suspend him until a hearing.
