Well Scott Weiland’s got to be a little salty. Or maybe it’s his group that is? The Stone Temple Pilots just released a statement revealing they’ve fired him…after he’s been their lead singer for more than 20 years! Damn!
“Stone Temple Pilots have announced they have officially terminated Scott Weiland,” they wrote in their statement. Nothing more, nothing less. And just yesterday, Scott had denied rumors he was leaving the group, telling Rolling Stone, “STP has not broken up. I haven’t quit. I haven’t been fired.”
Scott is set to launch a solo tour next month, so maybe they were just over him doing his own thing?
