Google has partnered with social infrastructure platforms Janrain and Gigya to bring the new Google+ Sign-In feature to popular brands. Now customers can sign in with their Google account when on sites like HSN and American Idol. Also, users will be able to automatically download their Android app; Customize their app experience using Google+ profile info; Enable users to share interactive posts with friends and write app activities that only appear when they’re relevant.

Janrain uses a User Management Platform (JUMP) and it makes it easy for their clients like NPR, HSN, and Crain Communications to learn more about their customers and users. Gigya, clients list includes NBA, American Idol, NBC, and Universal Music Group sites.
