World War Z finished in 2nd place taking in $66 Million dollars which was unexpected by movie execs but Brad Pitt knew the potential of the movie and is happy he proved everyone wrong.
“World War Z,” which had been left for dead by some industry insiders when major production issues forced delays and reshoots, proved to be the best opening of the A-lister’s career, ahead of his $50.3 million take for the 2005 film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” “Brad Pitt should be jumping up and down and saying, ‘Hah, hah, I told you so,’” said Paul Dergarabedian, box office analyst for Hollywood.com. “He went on the campaign trail for the movie [and] never lost sight of the fact that he believed it was a good movie and just waited for everybody else to catch up.”
