IFWT_Movie

Linda Bergslian was on her way to ‘Classic Coffee’ in Southern California when she noticed a group of men with masks standing outside of the entrance. Once she noticed the masks, she saw that in their hands, they held guns. Immediately, she made a U-turn back to her car, where she called the police. Minutes later, every officer on-duty arrived to the scene.

A scene it was… LITERALLY! “Drop the gun! Drop the gun!” One officer yelled, after one man continued to hold his pellet gun. Before that, one of the actors had already tossed his. The woman mistook the actors for actual robbers while they were shooting a short-film on location. After the officers yelled for the man to drop his gun, other officers rushed to the man, disarming him, and then threw him to the ground. Once they were on the ground, the police were made aware of the rolling camera in the background. At that time, the actors told them they were filming a movie.

Although the filming was illegal (technically), the actors weren’t charged. Had they payed an $828 permit to film, they could have avoided almost being killed by the police. Later, they got the chance to pose for cops holding the guns that caused the scene.
