After the State Department of Corrections released inmates with alleged forged documents, the duo was caught “without incident” in Panama City’s Coconut Grove Motor Inn, reported officials.

“We just want you to surrender yourself to someone you trust who will bring you back in safely,” pleaded inmate Charles Walker’s mother, Lillie Danzy during a news conference outside of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in Orlando. The family claims to have been oblivious to the inmates escape plan and even called the prison several times to confirm that the men were being “legally” released.

Charles Walker and Joseph Jenkins were apprehended by U.S Marshals and more after their late September, early October release. The two were convicted of 1998 felonies including a home invasion and murder.

How did the two trick the legal system??? Well the carefully assembled illegal documents contained: “bogus reproductions of several key players’ signatures, including those of the Orlando-area State Attorney Jeffrey Ashton or the assistant state attorney and Judge Belvin Perry. They bore the seal of the Orange County clerk of court’s office,” reported CNN
