Brooklyn native and musical legend Lou Reed, has reportedly died reports Rollingstone, hit the jump for more

NYC Rock legend Lou Reed is best known for integrating rock and pop art to mainstream music, during his legacy as guitarist, singer and song writer for the Velvet Underground, as well as his own personal career. The talented musician has reportedly died at 71, sources have yet to release the cause of death.

“Earlier this year, he received a life-saving liver transplant after experiencing chronic liver failure. Reed was open about his addiction to drugs and alcohol in his music,” reports HP
