An ex-con opened fire at two cops on Thursday at a Brooklyn housing project. Police officers, Jovanny Calderone and Dorian Thompson, were responding to a 911 call in Red Hook Houses reporting a man with a gun walking the street. Upon their arrival, they spotted 25 year old Calvin Randall adjusting his waist band in a suspicious manner. To read more, click below.

As the two officers tried to detain Randall, he began to resist arrest and that is when he pulled out his gun to fire a shot. Neither Calderone nor Thompson were injured, managing to arrest the 25 year old gunman. Authorities identified his gun as a Arminius .22-caliber revolver. Randall was charged with attempted murder, attempted assault of a police officer, gun possession, resisting arrest, and reckless endangerment.
