50 Cent had his introduction to the game through Eminem’s Shady Records, a division of Interscope Records. After over a decade with the House of Shady, though, he has decided to part ways. It doesn’t come as a total surprise, as over the years, he’s had tension with both Interscope over the promotion and situation with his albums, and with Em’s big homie Dr. Dre because of SMS Audio vs. Beats By Dre. With the departure, he’s inked a new deal, and his new album Animal Ambition will be released through Caroline/Capitol/UMG on June 3rd. Check out a statement from both Fif and Eminem below. What do you think of the new move?
Marisa Mendez
“I’ve had great success to date with Shady/Aftermath/Interscope and I’d like to thank Eminem and Dr. Dre for giving me an incredible opportunity,” 50 said in a statement. “I’ve learned so much from them through the years. I am excited to enter this new era where I can carry out my creative vision.”
Em’s statement:
“Both myself and Shady Records are grateful to have had the chance to play a part in 50′s career. Shady simply would not be what it is without 50 Cent. I’ve developed a great friendship with 50 over the years, and that’s not going to change. We know 50 will have success in his new situation, and we remain supporters of both him and G-Unit.”

Your album will flop no matter who you with. Maybe try not using the same lyrics for every other track and you might sell
Thank u!! Don’t let the door hit u on the way out, Fif. Your musics been garbage. It’s a blessing for Em and the Dr. I’d bet u anything he’s got a diss track waiting for the people who helped put him where he is. Retire already. Garbage, man, garbage.
fif still be releasing dope shit while em releasing trash and pop singles and dre only focuses on beats and not on detox or music
