IFWT_Soldier

How nice. When Ohio’s own, Myles Eckert found $20 in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel restaurant, he did what, pretty much, everybody else wouldn’t do. He walked back inside and gave it a soldier dining with his family. Pretty unusual because I can’t begin to count how many people I know that would pocket it. Find out why he did this, after the jump.

The reason: 8-year-old Myles’ father was killed in duty and felt that the dining soldier deserved it. In fact, he even wrote a letter to elaborate.

Dear soldier — my dad was a soldier. He’s in heaven now. I found this 20 dollars in the parking lot when we got here. We like to pay it forward in my family. It’s your lucky day! Thank you for your service. Myles Eckert, a gold star kid.
