Let’s call this the ‘Tupac at Coachella Effect’ from 2012, because British tabloid the Sun reports that the late Winehouse may go on a world tour as a 3D hologram??
The idea still in premature stages, but it is reported that this is the brainchild of Billionaire Alki Davi, who is set on using the same hologram technology that brought Tupac to the 2012 Coachella. David was so blown away by the technology that he bought the rights to it! In fact, his film and hologram companies sued Cirque du Soleil and MGM Resorts this week for patent infringement over a hologram of Michael Jackson used in Vegas, reported the Hollywood Reporter. They are also looking to include Amy’s father, Mitch into show, quite possibly introducing his hologram daughter to fans that attend the show.
Hmm, this is very interesting. While I love her works and know what an incredibly talented singer/songwriter, I may find it a bit strange to be singing along with a hologram. Shrugs. Would you want to attend one of Amy’s shows?
