Just on on and throw an Hip Hop Opera and TV show under his belt because Russell Simmons has taken on the role of creator and producer for these upcoming projects.

The Hip Hop Opera is called “Cain and Abel” which will be written by Omar Epps and former Onyx member, Sticky Fingaz.

On top of that, Russell is currently adapting 12 Years A Slave into a television show! Of the show, Russell says it is about,
“a young African-American man’s journey into high society in New York.”
