Meshach Taylor, star of “Designing Women,” and best known for the role of Anthony Bouvier on the show, passed away Saturday night. He was suffering from a long battle with cancer. His family reports that he died at his home in California while he was surrounded by the people he loved. He acted in the film “Mannequin” and TV shows such as “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide,” “Hannah Montana,” and “The Drew Carey Show”. He was also nominated for an Emmy back in 1989.
