Nicki accepted her 5th Best Female Hip Hop Artist BET Award last night and she had a lot to say in her speech. Not only did she have some choice words for what others think of her but she also had something to say about her fellow nominees, specifically seeming to target Ms. I-G-G-Y. T.I. is rumored to help Iggy with her rhymes, which gives some real underlying meaning to Nicki mentioning that “when you hear Nicki spit, Nicki wrote it.”
Nicki has thrown some shade at Iggy in the past after Forbes magazine tried to claim the Aussie rapper owned hip hop. While Nicki did congratulate Iggy for her success, she definitely let it be known that she is not topping her. Looks like she had to let her know one more time last night.
